Seillans, one of the most beautiful villages in France
Seillans is regularly voted among the most beautiful villages in France, a competition which is hotly contested in a country which is full of them. Located a few kilometres away from the larger village of Fayence, Seillans is a popular destination for everyone with its narrow, winding streets and beautiful panoramic views of the valleys below. Many see it as the perfect place to enjoy a villa holiday in South of France. Set back into the hillside, the charming village housed famous German painter Max Ernst in the last 10 years of his life, so struck was he by its beauty that he moved there full time. It is difficult not to fall in love with Seillans and its relaxed pace of life, outdoor cafés and vast array of shops selling local produce. It is another one of our villages which comes alive in the summer period, especially on the 14th July when Bastille Day is celebrated in Seillans with fireworks and other cultural events.
Further away from the town, there is the valley below full of interesting countryside to explore. As mentioned above, it is not far from Fayence and the other 'perched villages' in the area, which are all worth a day trip. Furthermore, the stunning town of Grasse is just a short drive away. It is not surprising that it is one of the favourite destinations for customers looking for villa holidays in South France and you can browse our villa collection in Seillans.

"Amandières". Peaceful setting, plenty of privacy, large garden. Short and long stays. Great value for out of season holidays.
