Normandy is a region with an incredible diversity of scenery and attractions.
Rich in history with rugged coastline, sandy beaches, castles, churches, woodlands and farmland; Normandy is also home to a wealth of gastronomic specialities including wonderful cheeses, Calvados brandy and cider, as well as some wonderful seafood.
Normandy holds a special historical significance around the world due to the conflict that took place there during World War II. As a result, the region is scattered with commemorative cemeteries and memorial museums, not to mention the historic D-Day landing beaches.
Some of France’s most iconic attractions have their home in Normandy including the island commune of Mont Saint Michel, the Bayeux Tapestry Museum and the ancient town of Rouen.
