Brittany Gîtes & Cottages
Tucked away on the north west corner of France, Brittany is a diverse region with a mix of rocky cliffs, long sandy beaches and coves. With over 1200km of coastline you will be spoilt for choice to find your favourite beach or cliff-top walk.
The region has managed to remain unspoilt by tourism, retaining both its character and charm. With a history going back to the Dark Ages, traditional summer time Celtic festivals even exist to this day.
If gastronomy is your interest then you can spend hours strolling around the morning markets. There you’ll find a plethora of fruits and vegetables dotted amongst the flowers, decorative trinkets, clothes, hand-made jewellery and so much more. If you visit the famous market in Lorient you can sample some of the vast array of the fresh fish caught daily; with hake and monkfish being popular local catches along with large quantities of langoustines.
