This bright and airy, well maintained 1st floor apartment is in a quiet road just 800 metres from the lovely beaches of Vaux sur Mer. Enter into the lounge/diner or the kitchen, and both give onto a large balcony which overlooks the garden. There is a bedroom with a double bed and the bed settee in the lounge/diner sleeps two as well. Walk down towards the beach and you will see a choice of bars, restaurants and small shops, or for bigger shopping, there is a hypermarket within 2kms. There are several smaller beaches and criques within walking distance and you can stroll along beyond the main beach of Pontaillac into Royan which is the main resort in the area. La Palmyre is 10kms up the road, with one of the best Zoos in France, and just this side of the Zoo is an 18 hole Golf course. this is a great area for cycling too and of course water sports. Try also to visit the very pretty village of Talmont sur Gironde 20kms South and La Rochelle is just over an hour’s drive and a great place for another day out.
